My Journey into Integrative Healthcare

WHEN CONVENTIONAL ANSWERS WEREN'T ENOUGH

My path into acupuncture and integrative medicine began through my own experience with chronic health challenges.

In my 30s, I was living with a chronic health condition and was told that long-term pain medication was my only treatment option. While I respect and value Western medicine, I knew I wanted to explore additional approaches that addressed more than symptom management.

DISCOVERING A DIFFERENT PATH

Through acupuncture and herbal medicine, I experienced firsthand how integrative healthcare can support healing and improve quality of life. That experience changed the course of my health journey and ultimately inspired my professional path.

WHY I DO THIS WORK TODAY

I understand what it feels like to search for answers, feel overwhelmed by conflicting health information, and want a healthcare experience that feels more personal and supportive.

Today, I help patients navigate their own healing journeys by creating a calm, welcoming space where they feel heard, informed, and empowered.

My goal is not simply to help people manage symptoms, but to support them in building a stronger foundation for long-term health, resilience, and well-being.

The Fun Stuff

I'm also a metalsmith and have a workshop where I make jewelry and acupressure tools.

I have two birthdays! It is a long story. Ask me about it in clinic sometime.

I’m originally from Iran, and my work is rooted in my healing lineage.

I took a career aptitude test once, and the jobs recommended for me included becoming a nun, librarian or a spy!
